About us
Here at Bekki Gould Disability and Aged Care Support our mission is to make our clients feel warm, welcomed, cared for and listened to. We are all about person centered care, what our clients needs are and that is our priority. If family is around we love to have them involved if that is how things are.
So far there is myself Bekki, I started my journey in aged care and disability around 3 years ago after I had my last son. I felt I needed to be doing something with purpose and I also didn't like seeing how some people were treated. I view everyone as equal no matter their circumstance, You ARE a person before your DISABILTY and you ARE someone that deserves to be treated with respect when you can no longer do things yourself.
I am currently studying to get my RN's as I would like to be able to do more for my clients. I am a few years off that at the moment but I am getting there :).
Also working within my company there is my mother Heather, she started out in aged care 9 years ago. She has been in residential aged care facilities and in the most recent years changed out into the community. Being out in the community opened her eyes to exactly how many more people out their needed help and reassurance that things will be ok. Knowing I had gone out on my own because I wanted to provide clients with better support and care was something that inspired her to want to do the same.
We both strive to make our clients feel at ease with us and like to make sure they care comfortable in every aspect of their care. If something is not right we would like to be told so the situation can be fixed.
We are here to care. Always
